Berkeley Integra Ltd is a specialist installation contractor of proprietary partitioning, dry lining, suspended ceilings and associated works for the commercial environment.
They aim to offer a high standard of service to their clients. Because they are able to install products provided by the major & established manufacturers they are not compromised by design and do not subscribe to restrictive dealerships. This in turns allows them to offer their customers comparative costs and design compliant alternatives. Berkeley Integra have been operating as a business for 16 years and operated for 10 years without any CHAS Membership.
The Problem
We were advised by some of our clients that we needed to become CHAS accredited in order to work with them in the future, without this accreditation behind us we would be removed from their supply chains.

The Solution
It was a no brainer; CHAS was the accreditation scheme for us. It meant that not only can we get to carry on working with our existing clients, it also strengthened our existing relationships and built even more trust between us.
After looking through the range of Accreditation packages available from CHAS, we decided to become a CHAS Premier member, allowing us to achieve The Common Assessment Standard.
We also started to win new clients, all thanks to our business being listed on the CHAS Client Portal as an accredited contractor. We started seeing an increase in business as a result of joining CHAS.
The Outcome
In my opinion, CHAS is by far the best accreditation service available and is the only accreditation service most companies will need, not least due to their friendly, helpful service and extensive client portfolio. Most of our clients require CHAS accreditation and will not work with companies that do not have it.
The accreditation process took roughly 7-10 days to complete, but I would imagine this to be quicker for others as I.T. and computers are not my strong point! The staff at CHAS were extremely helpful during this process and made everything very simple and easy to complete. CHAS has given us a great competitive edge and has saved us plenty of time re-qualifying with clients and finding new lines of work.
